Soon the covid-19 infection spread and it is still widespread worldwide.
Whether or not the Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed this year, will be held safely is a delicate situation, but I hope for a peaceful world before. ..
New Year’s worship【Hatsumode】
The Japanese are said to be non-religious, but I don’t think so.
The fact that many people cherish New Year’s Day and go to shrines and temples is evidence that the Japanese believe in “God” and “Buddha.”
This year, I restricted my outings because of covid-19.
However, on New Year’s Day, many people go to shrines and temples while preventing infection. “There is no good year to go to New Year.” Many people think. This is Japanese belief.

On December 31st, I thanked my hometown shrine (Ubusunagami) for saying, “I spent a year safely.”

あけまして おめでとうございます
２０２１年 新しい年になりました。
昨年の２月から、このブログをスタートさせました。
そして、まもなくして新型コロナウィルスの感染が拡大し、今なお、世界中で猛威を猛威を振るっています。
今年に延期された「東京オリンピック」が無事に開催されるかは、微妙な状況になっていますが、一刻も早く、元の平和な世界に戻ってほしいと心から願っています。
「初詣」
日本人は無宗教と言われますが、この新年に関しては絶対にそうだとは思いません。
こんなにお正月を大切にし、大勢の人たちが神社やお寺に参拝に行くという習慣は、日本人は「神様」や「仏様」への信仰を持っている証拠なのです。
今年は、新型コロナの影響により、あちこちで外出自粛、外出規制が敷かれています。
しかし、このお正月では感染予防をきちんとしながら、やっぱり神社やお寺にお参りに行く人がたくさんいます。「お正月にお参りに行かないと、良い一年を送れない。」と考える人が多いのだと思います。これが日本人の信仰心なのでしょう。

「初詣」の起源についてもこれから書いていこうと考えています。
私は12月31日に「一年無事に過ごすことができたことへの感謝」のために自分の生まれた土地の神社（産土神：うぶすながみといいます）に行きました。そして、1月2日に自分の健康と世界中の人たちにとって平和な一年になりますようにとのお願いとご挨拶をしてきました。
みなさんにとって、良い一年でありますように。
